Excel Test for Interview

DESCRIPTION

A real Excel test based on the problems and exercises that companies use in their hiring processes. These are not generic tutorial exercises: they are the specific type of problem you will be asked to solve on the day of your interview, with realistic data and step-by-step explained solutions so you understand why each formula works, not just which formula to use.
The exam is divided into three sections of approximately 10 problems each. Each of them has its own dataset.

It  includes 30 Excel practice questions focused on topics the companies use to assess candidates knowledge of Excel tools, functions and formulas.

All Excel assignments are real and simulate a regular situation or problem (based on the data provided) that you will have to solve using the most suitable Excel function or tool. Basically, these exercises replicate real world problems or situations that you may encounter at any position of wide range of  industries.
Once you finish all the exercises, you will be more confident with Excel and gain the expertise and knowledge required to succeed at any job interview.

INSTRUCTOR

Rhynard Prins is a Business Development Manager, at Pragma Global, an Asset Management company. Based in South Africa, he holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Industrial engineering.

REQUIREMENTS

This Excel exam for interviews is designed to assess candidates that apply for positions in engineering, finance, consulting, accounting, audit and many others industries that require an intermediate level of Excel. It is recommended for anyone preparing for a hiring process where Excel is part of the assessment and spreadsheet proficiency is a key requirement.
The spreadsheets included in the project have been done with the latest Excel version. It is then compatible with Excel 2007, Excel 2010, Excel 2013 and Excel 2016.
